Quite The Little Joiner, Aren't We?

I can just hear my sister's voice- "quite the little joiner, aren't we?" (she actually said this to me last week). She likes to quote Dirty Dancing. And truth be told, that quote is exactly what I was thinking as I uploaded all these pictures. I am one of Grant's room moms, the secretary for the parent's board at the preschool and a fellowship planner for my bible study group. It sounds like a lot but hey, a girl's got to stay busy while she pines away for home. Seriously though, overall I enjoy it and still make time to do absolutely nothing. Did I tell you the twins and I love watching Nat Geo Wild together? :)

Grant's 2nd grade class. They did a "walkasockathon" fundraiser so the twins and I chaperoned the walk.

We decided to walk back to base from the school. Colter loves his doggies.

Hayden loves being cute.

She thought so.

She stayed like that for 3 whole blocks. I thought she just might burst and confetti or rose petals or sugar or something might come out of her. Listen, I think they're adorable, I'm just saying that I'm glad she had someone to hold on to. Geesh.

Another birthday party Halloween style. It was so much fun!

Colter's first soccer practice. With two boys playing soccer, I'm officially a soccer mom. Add that to the list. Glad I don't have the matching minivan.

Warm-ups.

Look at the pure thrill on his face!

Hayden decided not to play- a decision he soon regretted after not getting a cool pair of cleats like his brothers. This was a very sweet gesture- a sign that said "Go Colter!", but earlier in the week when he was still mad, he wanted to make one that said "Lose Colter!".

Grant's first game. He did great!

We went with a small group to watch the Seoul International Fireworks Festival.

Fireworks were great, but it was very crowded and believe it or not, cold that night (don't worry, it's still warm & buggy here, she just won't give it up for good).

We left before it was over to beat the crowds- part of them at least. We had to walk through this tunnel. First crowded Asia experience. Now I know how people get trampled.

Sardines! All I can think of when we're in crowds is how the boys' faces are right by everyone's rear ends. Yes, I just said that.

He just wakes up this awesome.

After 2.5 months and a long trip across the ocean, our stuff came!

This right here is popular. Think I can convince Brent to match me? I doubt it, once I called his clothes an "outfit". Big Mistake. Huge. (See what I did there? A little Pretty Woman. I can quote too).

Hiking Seoul City Wall.

Hayden, trying to kill people with his cuteness again. Also, check out that hiking "outfit" behind him!

We let the boys get a toy out of a vending machine outside this store. I went "in" to check it out. There was a path about 15 inches wide by 3 feet long. That's all. It was like crappy dollar toys made in China Hoarders style. I'm sure some of you guys' worst nightmare!

This is a food market called Tongin. You pay about $5 to get 10 tokens, they give you a tray and you visit all the vendors and get what you want to try for lunch.

Supposedly this lady has been on a TV show & John Kerry ate here once.

Kimchi. Kimchi is what huckleberry was during my time in Yellowstone. A friend once told me, "If I never see huckleberry again, that would be too soon".

This is what the boys and I got. I forgot to get a picture of Brent's tray. Notice how they used some of their tokens for candy? They weren't big fans, but tried each thing. Except the bottom right because it was SPICY!

This is more my type of food. Living overseas, sometimes if you want it, you have to make it. This is my attempt at a smoked turkey sandwich from Schlotzsky's. Except this is Brent's sandwich. We all know I don't eat tomatoes.

It was so cute....until Colter fell out of the bed and scared the crap out of us coming down the hall as we were headed to bed.

That's much better. Guess who thought they might fall out of bed all night?!

More soccer!

How Hayden passes the time at games.

As this one's for his aunt, the joiner. He's a lot like you...loud! We love you both just the way you are!!

Speaking of which, I have a meeting to go to.
