We love our hiking and there is no shortage here. Here are our two most recent climbs:
My boys are so happy when they're hiking. Especially the big one.
And they're off...
We climbed Yongmasan. "San" means mountain in Korea. So the "Mt." part is at the end of the word.
About halfway there.
We live just behind that tower on the hill.
The American novelties were eating leftover cold pizza at the summit. And yes, they were all staring.
Ready to climb Everest ;).
Summit!
This contraption is a place to charge your cell phone before you descend.
We headed down towards that platform you can see on the left side of the pic.
Air to clean your shoes post-hike. Not going to lie, I kinda like this luxury. It's right up there with glamping.
Next up- Maebong Peak. Daddy studied the map, but it's hard when you can't read the language! It was supposed to be a short hike- about 2.2km, but that was just to the first junction.
Colter's ready!
It was perfect weather...
..and almost all stairs.
It was supposed to bring you good luck if you circled this rock. We had no idea, so we just followed the locals. I hoped it meant no more stairs.
My fellow hikers can appreciate the false summit :/. Mountain goats were not happy.
But we took a picture anyway.
Here's the summit view!
And, you guessed it, more stairs down!
And more. Great hike, but my legs were mad for a couple days. Maybe the nanny goat needs to work on that.
