More Cali, Joshua Tree & Arches

After Disneyland, we spent the next two days sightseeing in the area. First we went to Hollywood and Beverly Hills. I guess it was neat to check it off the list, but hardly worth the traffic. I'm not sure how you southern Californians do it. I was about to go crazy waiting in your traffic jams.

Think they got those letters from Hobby Lobby?

 The Observatory and downtown LA.

Walk of Fame.

Beverly Hills

Rodeo Drive

We went to Downtown Disney to eat dinner at ESPN Zone since Grant likes eating at restaurants with sports on TV. He was fully engrossed in the Thunder game.

The next day, we rode on a ferry to get to the beach.

Brent and his fresh seafood and his weird boxed water.

We spent the afternoon at Laguna Beach. I had really wanted to go to Malibu, but knowing what the traffic would be like, we headed south instead. Hot day, cold water!

These boys even rock climb at the beach. All 4 of them.

Dinner after the beach- it was delishl!!!

Colter double fisting the shakes.

Park #3

Taking a hike and earning their junior ranger badges.

After Joshua Tree, we started heading back east. So glad we didn't break down here.

Back in Utah, we decided to pop into the north entrance of Zion since the road is not connected to the part of the park we were in earlier in the week. This is Kolob Canyon.

Our last national park. Colter was excited for this one because he kept seeing the arch on the Utah license plates.

Balanced Rock

We hiked up to Delicate Arch (the one on the plate).

Tunnel Arch. Right after this picture was taken, we dropped Colter on his face in the dirt...oops.

Pine Tree Arch

Landscape Arch

Another pretty formation just outside the park.

After Arches, We spent the night in Grand Junction and then drove back to Denver the next morning. We had a blast and were completely worn out. Ready for round two!
