I'm thinking
He Said What?! is going to be a regular posting..........The boys and I are driving to my parents' house in the morning so we all decided to go to mass tonight. Brent has taken Grant to mass a few times- like when I was on bedrest and when the twins were too little to take out and he claims it was almost nightmarish. He would come home embarrassed, flustered, annoyed; you name it. Too bad I wasn't blogging then. You would have had a good laugh or two at Brent's expense! Anyway, half way through the service tonight, Colter got fussy so we took him out of his car seat. Brent was holding him and he told me he thought he was stinky. Well, since I had already gotten up to take Grant potty, I thought it could wait- plus he seemed happy. A minute or so later I look over at his bright red face trying so hard to relieve himself. And then it came. The poop explosion that was loud enough for the surrounding isles to hear! It gets worse. Grant (in his non-church voice) proclaims, "I pooted too!" followed by "change your dipey!" (I was nervously hushing him while Brent was scared that poop had leaked all over his slacks). The mother in front of us turned around and gave me that sympathetic smile/laugh that said, "I'm only laughing because I've been there before". So from now on, every time we go to mass instead of our church, I should prepare for the worst from my kids, or at least a good story!
Here's the little toot posing for Valentines pics:
He made this one last week at church- he gets upset if we forget his craft!
Flowers for his teachers & and a new shirt from Grandma Oso
