Three Little Kings: Galveston

The weather was really nice here this week so we thought we would take the kids down to Galveston for the day. There was a Mardi Gras parade that went down the seawall, so it was scenic for us and pure bliss for Grant who is a major bead lover (I think I have pretty much just gotten rid of all the beads from last year). He was over the moon this morning because he was gettting some new beads and going to the beach. He has been asking us to take him back to the beach since July. The weather was a little foggy and the wind coming off the ocean was almost cold, but we had a great time anyway.

It was just too much excitement for Colter. Hayden was with me, so there aren't any pics, but he did not like the marching bands- the drums scared the poor thing to death!

This man has a large toy Napa Auto Parts truck in his hand. He ran all the way over to Grant and gave it to him! Later, another float signaled for me & Grant to approach their float and pulled out a stuffed frog that was as big as Grant! Glad we have such a cutie, but he really just wanted those beads. Luckily, we had the stroller to haul all of his new goodies.
