Annyeonghaseyo!

Annyeonghaseyo! Yep, that's how you say hello in Korean. Don't be surprised when in 2 years I learn a total of 2 Korean words. I'm trying to master (or at least not butcher) this one and "thank you"- another multi-syllable crazy to pronounce word. I have a method. I say it quiet and fast, hoping they can appreciate my effort. I throw in a "I'm new at this" smile for good measure. Good thing my kids are cute.

Just another week here in Seoul. The boys are the boys. All 3 are enjoying school although last Thursday when I went to pick the twins up Hayden was all smiles until he saw me then he got upset. I asked him what was wrong and he said that "in the middle of the day I almost cried because I missed you". His teacher said he's been perfectly fine. Hayden has mommy guilt mastered.

Ol' Stinkeye King. Sometimes he says he has changed his name to Cody.

G working on his art homework- to draw a picture of his home.

Took the boys out for shopping and a treat. No leopard rolls again, so we settled on cupcakes. They were nasty and the boys wouldn't eat them.

So we left and got ice cream with churros..

...all better!

Grant's favorite athlete making an appearance in Seoul.

At the grocery store. They don't mess around with their ramen! There were 2 whole rows like this.

Touring Hanok Village- an old traditional neighborhood.

Korea meets Colorado. I like to call this a Korean log cabin.

Surprise, we stopped for a treat. They love churros here. While we were waiting for our nutella covered churro, the boys were given free ice cream. They acted like vultures on a carcass.

Ready to explore Gyeongbokgung Palace. Say that 5 times fast.

Brent thought I would like a selfie stick. Silly him. We're still working on it.

No Grant, you're holding it up too high.

Nope, that doesn't work either. We decided to just go look at the palace :).

He's really cute when he wants to be.

But he's so over posing with the locals.

Even these fancy get ups don't impress him.

Just outside the palace walls. The embassy is on the left.

Daddy's work.

Base life. Hayden, I think they're talking to you.

We took advantage of Labor Day and went to Everland. Fortunately the majority of the humidity has packed up and decided to go annoy somebody else so it was a pleasant day.

There was a safari area where the tour bus went on land and in water and viewed various free roaming animals.

Y'all know I love my bears. Not sure if I was impressed or more creeped out.

Had to take a picture of this river rapids ride. These guys had already lowered them, but there were built in covers so you didn't get drenched. Your hair was still fair game.

Look at these two. They were apprehensive about the haunted mansion.

He was scared to death.

Riding Thomas the Train. It's always a little bittersweet to do something after your kids have grown out of their obsession.

This is a family favorite. And a very good depiction of these two.

This ride went back and forth and spun side to side. I have learned to just say no. Sometimes I'm forced to ride because Brent and I each have to ride with the twins.

 They loved it....

...me, not so much....

...Colter is having fun....

..is it over yet?!

My gondola lovers.Too bad it didn't take us to the top of a beautiful snow covered mountain.

Goodbye Everland. It was fun!
