Christmas 2011

This year we went to Oklahoma to have Christmas with my side of the family. The boys had so much fun playing with all their cousins (there are 10 kiddos total) & Brent & I enjoyed time visiting and playing games with everyone. Brent has been training for the Houston Marathon which required him to take a 20 mile run on Christmas Eve! We also had a little birthday celebration for Grant with his cousins. The hi-lite of the trip was the Christmas Eve Service where Grant told Mary & Joseph's story- over and over to the entire church. At least we know he's listening to us and his school teachers! Here are some pictures of our Christmas:

Grant's classmate gave him this gingerbread house kit which he loved! He had been asking me to buy him one, so I was off the hook =).

Every year, The Woodlands puts up a skating rink beside the mall. This was Grant's first time on the ice.

Well, the ice skates were a little heavy for him, so he switched to training skates and did much better! However, he did look like a little old man with that "walker"!

My little skaters! He informed us that now he wants to try skiing.

We opened our gifts at home before we went to Oklahoma. The twins would hardly sit to open their presents so there's definitely not any pictures of them afterwards either.

Cousins- This moment of stillness was followed by several solo performances & lastly, a dance party!

This game has been a big hit. We play this most nights after the twins go to sleep. However, Grant is quite the sore loser.

This sweet boy just wanted to sit in Grandma's block box!
