This weekend we made a long overdue trip to Aunt Kim's in Baton Rouge. Even though tropical storm Lee was dumping rain there, we weren't going to let that keep us home. Besides, with the draught here in Texas, we wanted to show our kids what rain looked like! We had a nice time. We went shopping, Daddy got to eat Cajun food, and we got to spent time with Kim and her boyfriend Ross.
Hayden & Colter in the locker room- Ross works for the LSU baseball team, so he was nice enough to give us a tour of the new baseball complex.

Grant meeting Ross' dog Ralphie. He was so excited that in the car he told me he was going to make a pretty smile for the camera, but he was a bit apprehensive of Ralphie.
Grant's favorite thing about Baton Rouge (besides seeing Aunt Kim, of course) is Mike the Tiger- LSU's mascot. He loved him until it appeared that he was headed right towards him, then he quickly said, "I'm done!".
