Yellowstone & Grand Teton

Two weeks ago we embarked on our first vacation as a family of five! We took the boys to Yellowstone National Park with a visit to Grand Teton National Park. Since meeting at the park eight years ago (!), Brent and I returned in 2009 to have Grant baptized at the Mammoth Chapel and decided to do the same for the twins. Overall, the boys were wonderful and we enjoyed the scenery, the company (many members of our family came too), and the cooler weather. I took 500+ photos so I condensed them as much as I could =).

Welcome! (We actually took this picture at the West Entrance as we were leaving).

Colter & Hayden are baptized!

We were so thankful that most of our family could be there. It was the first visit for some and others had been there several times, but everyone loved it!

One of the highlights for me- the 8 mile Rescue Creek Trail hike with the boys.

Colter acting cute in Lamar Valley.

One of my favorite places in the park, Lower Falls. By the way, the boys were such a hit that several people were taking our photo at the time!

Enjoying at picnic at Norris Campground.

Sweet Hayden at Norris Campground.

After dinner at the Old Faithful Inn Dining Room.

The boys at Hayden Valley.

That is the Old Faithful Inn in the background where Brent & I met selling souvenirs 8 years ago!

Grant ready to start the Lakeshore Trail hike around Colter Bay in the Tetons.

Watching a bull moose in Grand Teton. We weren't happy but we were there!

The highlight of the trip. On our last night we were coming back into the park from the Tetons and decided to stop at Grant Village for a picnic. As we turned off the main road this guy decided to stop, look at us, and then walk about 10 feet in front of our car! We got rained on during our picnic & I was a little scared to sit outside with food, but it was worth it!

Our last morning we had to get a family picture with Old Faithful. We can't wait to go back!
